The Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) said on Monday, 26 October, that its forces had attacked a vehicle carrying Taliban members on the Kabul-North highway in Qarabagh district.

In a statement, the group claimed that two Taliban members were killed and another was wounded in the attack.

According to the AFF, the attack took place at around 8:30 pm on Sunday, and none of its fighters were harmed.

The group also released a video of the attack showing an explosion beside the highway.

The attack came three days after the Afghanistan Freedom Front launched a rocket attack on Bagram military base.

On 23 October, the AFF claimed that its rocket attack on the base had caused casualties among Taliban forces.

Several military experts told Afghanistan International that foreign militants stationed at Bagram base had been targeted in the attack, with some reportedly killed or wounded. According to the experts, the attack also damaged facilities and training areas used by the militants.
